hint at a future thief level release. - by paloalto

With all the work going on in the "Mapping out The City" thread I misunderstood the term map. I had to read slower to understand he means mission map.:p
So, a dev. is making an FM. This should be very interesting, indeed. First I ever heard of this.
Whitechurch is Nate Wells? I thought he might be Doug Church, until the comment about being related to Orson Welles, so I had to look dig into the credits. And yeah, Nate Wells did the voice of Artemus. So, I wonder if this is a prequel or a side mission? Did Artemus actually die, or did he flee and was only impersonated by "the Hag?"
Hopefully the FM will be presented at TTLG, too!:thumb:
It's great to see that they all keep in touch and have genuine fondness for one another (mostly).
In the future, I'm gonna have to read up on Whitechurch's comments.

Thread not visible to non-SA members. Quel surprise. In future, could you just copy-paste the relevant quotes?

The FX artist on Bioshock is about to release a Thief Deadly Shadows map...It kills,....Im gonna record more Artemus stuff for him to make it legit...It will be the closest thing to a canon level without actually being one

It's rujuro's map.
See (

Actually non-members
can read the entire Something Awful thread because there's a link in the Bioshock forum and I just got through reading it myself, but apparently you cannot link to specific posts. Edit: Oh, I stand corrected. Apparently non-members can't read it after all, through any of the links, at least not right now. It's prompting me to register, which it wasn't before. We could read it this morning, but not now. Strange. At least that excuses paloalto a little for linking to it not knowing the bar was coming.
Also, Nate posts on TTLG under the name (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/search.php?searchid=58855) Holiday in case you want to look him up.

The first time I clicked the link, I got the "you need to register" page, but after I got over my confusion, I scrolled down and the thread was right below it.
Now it's a different page altogether.

Whether you can or can't just seems to depend on the day and the prevailing winds. This is something SA members need to always bear in mind when linking to posts on there. Since there's no easy way to check without logging out, please just quote what you wanted everyone else to see - especially when it's a single post halfway down the page.
