Hey, I've signed up just to ask this, but I think I'll stay around here, looks like a fun place.
So, I've recently reinstalled Thief 2, I got it a while back but never made it past Shipping... And Receiving, I got a bit ahead of myself and decided it took too long to find the loot! But now that I'm playing it again, I absolutely love it. Currently, I'm on First City Bank and Trust, and I've already infiltrated the bank through the balcony. I decided to save and quit, and went to sleep. So, the next day (today) I wanted to play it, but I just got an error message saying: "Your video card is not compatible with Thief 2." Which, I know is a dirty lie! :nono:
Is there anyway around this?
(My video card is a Radeon 9800 pro.)

You could try this. Look in your T2 directory for the file "USER.CFG"...open with notepad. Remove the ";" from the line ;safe_texture_manager and save.

I've done that already, because I got the texture error at one point, so I don't imagine that's helping me.

Hehe.
Just try downloading your latest graphics drivers and re-installing them. See if that does the trick.

Well, problem solved, it just took another restart. Pretty random error...
Thanks for your suggestions anyways!
