I'm playing Thief: The Dark Project (Gold) for the first time now, and this is by far the longest mission so far. I just found the Safe Key and I have still yet to complete a single objective other than making it inside the guild. Is this the longest mission in the game?

Thieves' Guild is quite mazy, that's why it looks that big. I don't think any mission is bigger, but some will take as much time or maybe more than Thieves' Guild... have fun taffer. :cheeky:

Well, it's taken me a couple hours now, but I've finally figured out how to get to Donal's Mansion. I had to look up where to get Lord Randall's Bracelet, however. But because there seems to be no decent guides for the game, all I could find was that the Bracelet was hidden in Thom's room. After like three minutes I found it, but I would have NEVER thought to look for it in that spot otherwise.

That is why you look at every inch of every room or space you enter during any mission in THIEF. Sometimes the rocks are movable, sometimes a hidden compartment is in the most unlikely spot.
You will find other missions that will cause you the same problem if you don't look. One is coming up in fact. :ebil:

Staying by the map, Soulforge should be the biggest level, is this true?
Thieves guild... I neither remember of it. Maybe it's time to play the Dark Project again? It's the only chapter I played only one time...

What that map doesn't show, of course, are how tall and layered these maps are, so lateral measurements are only one estimation of size.

Ohh, the longest level for me was The Hauntes Cathedral, when i don't speak english, i got to the Cathedral and listened to the eye (without understanding what it said), and i tried everything to enter the cathedral or simply get out of the walled section, after some months of insulting the level, i decided to burn all the torches with fire arrows, then my cousin told me: let's play to shoot to that statue with the sword (the sentinel) and let's step in that pedestal to practice, well , you know what happened, and then i started to hear the moving sound of the secret door and i thinked that something was over me and trying to kill me, so i decided to get out of there and when the sound stopped i checked the wall and i saw the secret room, i was very happy then... but it taked me at least 2 months to win the level :nono:
