Do you actually HAVE the sword yet?

Sounds like you need to obtain the sword - here's a hint: Maggie Chow's house isn't all it appears to be. Snoop around her house somemore- particulary the hallway off the dining area.

...Or you can try the back way by taking the elevator up. However, that's quite a tricky way of entering Ms. Chow's secret area and requires a lot of multitools if you don't want to set off the alarms. The way fett has hinted at is easiest and you can get in, get the sword and get out without alerting any guards.
You don't have to go to Versalife until you get the sword.

One thing i have discovered in my short time playing Deus Ex is always go where they say you shouldn't. like the floor in the Queen's Tower that is under construction

*SPOILER*
A lot of multitools? I don't recall using too many. Perhaps you overlooked a clue given in Maggie's apartment. There's an apologetic note from a fellow that says, "I'm so sorry I forgot your birthday, Maggie. From now on, July 18th is marked on my calender for good"
Hence, when you encounter a 3 digit code, 718 is the proper entry.
I know this sounds like a pompous correction. I just felt pretty clever when I figured this out, even if it isn't all that obscure. :D

You have a right to pat yourself on the back for figuring out the code. But that code is not to a door - it's to something else you'll encounter once you get into the secret section of Maggie's place.

tech, the wo aren't mutually exclusive. :)
That code will work on any keypad in Miss Chow's apartment.

Heh, I always miss clues involving dates when Americans write them. It's the other way round here in the UK you know... Anyway, well done *gives Caesar a pat on the back*
