I've only listened to a few of those tunes so far, but yeah, it sounds pretty good! I'm glad that some of the artists from HM1 are back on the new soundtrack too. My favourites in HM1 were the few tracks by Perturbator, so I decided to check out some more of his tunes. His newest album "Dangerous Days" turned out to be my third favourite album of 2014, and it kinda opened a whole new music genre for me. Gotta love those horror synths! :D
You can name your price for the album and download it (for free, if you like) on Perturbator's Bandcamp page here:

I don't know how to describe the music, but here's one track from "Dangerous Days" that also seems to feature in HM2.

Good thing that Cyberpunk game doesn't seem to be going anywhere. The trailer was inane enough.
Anyway, HM2: Whooo! Even if it's just more of the same I'll enjoy that.
I never played anywhere as slow and meticulous as henke, more frantic repetitions until I got the perfect run.
Admit you only did this for the video!

I'm not enjoying this as much as I thought I would. The new camera and level design make it feel somewhat more claustrophobic, leading to a gameplay style that is more about learning patterns and getting the timing right than about adapting on the fly to an ever-evolving situation. It's a different game, a nice one that I will play through, but not as compelling as the original.
I saw this picture on another forum which sums up pretty well at least part of the level design:

I loved the sound and visual aesthetics of the first one, but didnt really enjoy the actual gameplay. There is another game buried in there somewhere, that I would love.

Step 1: kick in the door to knock out the guy with the shotgun
Step 2: punch everyone in the room
Step 3: pick up a lead pipe and cave in the head of the shotgun guy before he has time to get back on his feet
Step 4: keep swinging until everyone in the room is dead
Step 5: grab the shotgun and kill everyone else on the floor
On paper, it looks easy.

Nice, henke.

I'm digging the soundtrack. 'Divide' is what's been giving my speakers a nice little warm-up exercise every day for the past week. El Huervo put in a cute reworking of Silent Hill's 'Tears Of...' track by taking the first few chords and dubbing drum loops on top of 'em.
As for the game... well, I'll get it once I finish HM1, probably.

I think the most relevant - and important - question for HM2 is, really, whether the soundtrack is as full of
totes amaze fuckballs tunes as last time.
