What is a Gaylesaver?
The dictionary does not say. :(

The Gaylesaver then.
This is obviously some internal joke I am no position to understand.
"Tis nothing, twas nothing, and now I shall forget it"

Just use the Search function and read some of his posts. He's infamous for (among other things) his predilection toward using big words which he clearly didn't understand the exact meaning of, combined with downright weird phrasing. For example--
"The logic of challenge restricts the simulation rules for games."
"Let us padlock the danger out. Let us streamline the influx of dirt and set down the law."
"If you are so keen on their praise, why not let your actions speak?"

ZylonBane, Tony...
We've figured out that you don't like T:DS by now. Please stop.
To the topic at hand - I'd always thought it was something along what the Warhammer Fantasy Battles game posits: that dark magic sinks and settles in areas where it's prevalent (ie, the maleficence of the Eye), gathering in the dead-flesh like thaumaturgical fallout.
Eventually, this fallout reaches a critical level, causing the once-dead to begin walking again. Necromancers use dark magics to infuse unlife into corpses - this is just a (super)natural version of it.

I care! I care a lot! I'm secretly waiting for a huge patch that will alter the game in many siginficant ways.
keep that hope alive!
though seriously I doubt they will alter any of the gameplay mechanics with a patch at this point. If we were to see that much of a content/gameplay change I think it would be in the form of an expansion pack or not at all. Mainly because we're talking Eidos here.
as for my opinion I enjoyed thief 3 from beginning to end, then beginning to end again, then a third time for good measure. I've never finished thief 1 or 2, but I loved both of em, played a lot of FM's, and I think I'm gonna finish Thief 2 soon. (Thief 3 was so much easier!)

ZB wasn't having fun with bad Thief 3 quotes, he was quoting Gaylesaver. Admittedly it is hard to tell the difference between the two...so your confusion is understandable.

My comment was directed more to the continued brayings on the part of these two particularly with regards to the canon status of T:DS.

Morpheus, you put forth foolishness. Moreover, you chose for yourself a name from the Matrix. I have nothing more to say to you.
You've refuted nothing.
By the way, Morpheus is a Greek god.
