Trying to play Coaxing the Spirit crashes while starting new game - I saw that I'm supposed to be NewDark ver 1.23 .. but I have no idea which version I'm up to and how to find out. I tried looking at my Thief2.exe version, and it says 1.9… so I have NO idea what patch I'm supposed to go with!
Help appreciated!!

If you look at the properties of your Thief2.exe file, on the details tab you will find the File Version, which will be 1.9, but below that you should see "Product Version". That will give you the ND version.

Slightly easier - If you use FMSel or NewDarkLoader, the version number of New Dark should show up in the title bar of the first window you see (where all of your FMs are listed).
