Interesting little survey I saw somewhere...
How do you play games?
A) Do you commit to one title and play it until you are done and move to the next?
B) Or do you have multiple games going and just sort of piddle with them and fail to finish most of them?
C) Or do you commit to one while having a few more casual type games for when you just cant concentrate enough on your main game?
A for me, mostly, though that sometimes slides into B territory.

Absolutely B. I'll have up to seven concurrent games going when I'm in a serious gaming mood.
At the moment: I-War 2, FEAR, The World Ends With You, and Lunar Knights

Definitely A. If I try to play more at the same time, their story and gameplay will tend to jumble up and I'll be left wandering why my HEV suit suddenly lost its stealth power.

A all the way. Unless it's something like a game you can't finish (multiplayer ex: TF2) in which case it's more of a C since I play other games while always coming back to said game every now and then.

for me its usually 2 or 3 in the A category. Unless its the new half life.
for EP1 and 2 I preloaded. and the second it was unlocked I started it up and didn't get of my seat till i finished it.

A, even if it's unfinishable like Yakoob pointed out. One... more... Titan... round...

All three :)
Sometimes I'll dedicate myself to a game start-to-finish. Mostly I have lots on the go at once, and when I am playing other things, it frequently includes 'casual' games like Crimsonland, Oasis, Weird Worlds, etc.

All three for me too.
But there is some logic behind it. If a story grabs me, I usually stick with the game until it's done. Also if a story doesn't grab me that much, but I'm afraid of running into spoilers online, then I do tend to lean towards option A.
Also, some games just can't be completed, don't have a story, and tend to linger. I've been playing a lot of TrackMania Nations Forever since its release. The short time that it takes to do a race makes it an ideal for casual play (that also makes it a very addictive game, 'just one more'). But the initial week I played it at every opportunity, spent more than enough time to finish a modern game with a storyline.

I used to be A all the way. But I'm increasingly B, and it's kind of frustrating. My unfinished games backlog currently consists of: Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, TRON 2.0 (replay, so it can be considered not to count), No More Heroes, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, and technically Dawn of War: Soulstorm even though I haven't installed it yet. And those are just the games that I intend to set aside some time to fucking finish already. In the 'games I haven't finished, and don't really care to' column I've got Oblivion, and VtM: Bloodlines. [edit]Actually there are a lot more in the unfinished list, but listing ALL of them would be an exercise in tedium and nostalgia.
And considering the veritable barrage of forthcoming stuff (Mirror's Edge, STALKER: Clear Sky, motherfucking SPORE, de Blob, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, etc) I'm not sure if I'll ever actually be able to set aside any time for the unfinished stuff.
