I will celebrate six years of blissful addiction to the Thief trilogy in June.
How long has everyone else been Taffin' around?

I didn't start playing the full game for The Dark Project until Fall of last year, but I did play the Bafford Mansion demo back in 2000. I bought The Dark Project the following Fall in 2001 and sat on it for 5 years (I was too busy scouting potential game purchases and trying demos to concentrate on the full games that I did have).
Now I'm playing through some of the fan missions for The Dark Project. I have plenty of time for The Metal Age and Shadows of the Metal Age. I can't see myself buyig Deadly Shadows.

ditto, In between the purchase of TDP and getting the demo though is about 500 plays through in which I always tried to find that exit they show on the map but isn't in the demo.. oh how it thwarted me. curse that elusive exit!

About a year maybe even less.
It all began with Thief 2.

Since 1999.

It all began when I swayed my brother to buy Thief 2 because I said I heard it was a good game even though I never played it. He fortunately gave in. Then we played the first level and didn't like it so we shelfed it for a month. I decided to see past the first level and from then on we were hooked.
