Okay, done! Glad you found it informative.
This thread should probably be moved to the Spoiler forum, just in case.

This reminds me of the Haunt Stadium... I'll refer to that. I think the most kills I ever got was 11 on that. (Haunt Stadium is quite fun for when you are in that FPS killing mode and are bored otherwise:cheeky: ) I usually end up with lower and lower health as I go along. Probably about 1-5 health points.
When thinking about Return to the Haunted Cathedral: Been a while since I've played that map,
but I either ran from the Haunts or I tried to kill them with flash bombs.
I think its kinda hard to fight 3 or more haunts with a sword at one time but that is just my opinion.

I made a joke-post a while back about dueling all the RTC haunts simultaneously with the blackjack, and I'm curious if its even possible to get them all into the same area to do it. If it is, I'd try it out. I was thinking that maybe the open area between with the doors to Tennors, the graveyard and one other building (can't remember it right now) would do nicely, after removing the zombies. The problem would be getting the Haunts from the cathedral down the broken staircase. Is it possible to nudge haunts that far?

There is a simple way to get rid of them all, though you need a lot of space to do it...
Walk backwards, whilst swing your sword every which way. It worked well for that FM where Garrett is sentenced with the other prisoners to that planet

Hesitate to say this ... but I'm curious about the method you're describing. You can email me with it, or you should just go ahead and post it with spoiler tags.

A method I always use is confronting a haunt, then circling around it constantly while attacking with the sword. They're very rarely able to hit you.

Circle-strafing. Does it work with more than one at a time?
marshall banana on 1/12/2007 at 03:01
I'm not sure. I think that combined with some guerilla tactics works. Make sure that you walk forward or backward while strafing, as it increases your speed.
