I just turned 39 this month. I first saw Thief in 1999, The Dark Project demo, and I was simply amazed. There is nothing else on Earth that can give the same atmosphere like T1/TG/T2. I keep playing, watching people on YouTube play, and compare real life buildings, settings and moods to Thief settings, being very satisfied, if I find something "Thiefy" in real life.
I hope this great community will stay for a while!

I'm 65, and proud to be still playing Thief
BTW, helping an old lady would be polite, so I ask you a question.
Lately I've been experiencing a lot of problems with fm sel, and most of the fm load to the point of objectives, then the game crashes.
As I've played these fm's for years with no problems at all, I guess it's time to reinstall the game.
I need if possible a guide for dummies to reinstall, as I remember there are patches and other things to do in order to have the game up to date.
Any kind soul willing to help? Thank you!
