30, male. Been playing games since 1984, when I first got an Atari 800XL with H.E.R.O, Donkey Kong, and I think a game called Gorf.

I'm 31, male. Initially we had a borrowed (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_32/64) Dragon 32 circa 1983 which I used to plug into a black and white television in a corner of the living room, until my father bought an (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amstrad_CPC_6128) Amstrad CPC 6128. Happy day.
First thing I ever played was Donkey Kong on a friend's (maybe) Vic-20

Male, 22. I had had some contact with gaming before I was 10, with one of those keyboard computers hooked up to the TV and a casette player, and with a SEGA console, but it wasn't until that age that I got into gaming. Dad got a 486, started on Volfied, and then got stuff like Shinobi, Desert Strike, and Dune II. It was all downstream from there, Doom 2, newer hardware, UT, etc.

"My son went to one of those electric rave shows recently. Poor boy came back blitzed out of his gourd on whipper snatches, chibbi chibbis, and donkey kongs! Being on one is bad enough. But all three? AT ONCE? I think he might have permanent brain damage after all that recreational druggery!"
How high can you get indeed. :weird:

exactly the same as Koki, down to the A600 and its lack of keypad preventing me from going anywhere in any of the Mercenary games
