Was probably between 7 and 9 when I first played TMA demo. Was slightly spooked and didn't know what to do. Got TDS in 2007 and loved it to death. As far as purchasing TG and TMA goes, I'm procrastinating. Unfortunately (due to YouTube) I already know the plots and endings of both games, but I think I'll still buy them.
I should, right?
TG and TMA are the best games I've never played.

hmmm, I didn't knew Thief came along with a graphics card, what card was it? :D

Funny, because im pretty sure the card my dad bought was a sound card and not a graphics card, unless im remembering wrong. So I guess they did it with graphics cards too, which actually makes more sense.

I know for sure that we got ours with the SoundBlaster Live! Value Pack. No reason they couldn't have done it with graphics cards, too. That does make sense.

I was 20 when i played Thief the dark project for the first time. A review in a game magazine made me buy it.

I was about... 13, I guess, when I first played TDP. At the time I didn't know of the existence of TMA and TDS... and now, ~6 years later, I finally played it again, and TMA after it. Haven't played TDS yet.
It was a somewhat different experience back then as I was younger... but I loved it, and remembered it. TDP was one of those honored few games which I kept remembering over the years... and that speaks volumes about the quality of a game - as much as a decade may pass after you played it, and yet it keeps re-entering your mind at times! Many newer games never had that effect on me :p
TDP was, and remains one of the best games ever... as can be seen by my location (look to the left :)). It also beats TMA (by a little :p).

Wow, now I feel kinda young. :cheeky:
The summer I found my Thief II demo CD, was also the summer I spent playing NoX 10-12 hours every day. Beating the hell out of 12 different people on CTF... by yourself... with nothing but leather armor, a buckler, and a short sword, is nothing short of epic win. :thumb:

At the end of the nineties, my brother and myself recieved copies of Thief in both video card and sound card packages...

I started with the Sold Out edition of TDP at the age of 24.
