Yes, that would be nice, but not every joke here has to be a multi-layered marvel of wit, insight and intelligence that redefines comedy. I think there is a place on TTLG for simple jokes that are funny because of their deliberate cheesiness, like the one Dema made here (besides, he's about the worst example you can use when you try to argue that people don't put enough thought into their posts), or for stuff like Mr. Duck's anal sodomy jokes, or dethtoll's Get Out Frog pictures. Simple jokes that provide a quick smile or laugh, nothing wrong with that, IMO, it makes for a relaxing forum experience.

And Harvester, of course low brow jokes have their place. But in the very quote you took from my post I said that the standard has become the lowest common denominator. And the cue for that was this anal themed tech thread. So either I'm somehow missing out on all the super-intelligent conversations going on here or you've lost touch with reality.
