Hi all. I wanted to extract the in-game sound effects for use on my computer. The sound the game makes when Garret picks up treasure, the "Objective Complete" sound effects, etc. Is there a specific way I can do this?
Thanks for your help. Everyone on this forum has been super helpful, and I appreciate the pointers!

CRF files are just ZIP files.

I guess you are looking for Thief2\RES\snd.crf\sfx\
Just copy and rename snd.crf to snd.zip and open it.

Good god no no no why do people keep saying this?
Just double-click the CRF file, then tell Windows to associate that file type with your unZIPping program of choice.

Since it *might* depend on whether your 'favorite' ZIP program is willing to actually swallow it ?
But I agree, I also always simply open these things without any renaming.
