Someone who know how to extract the fellingsful music from a T2 level? from example Shoalsgate Station. That level has the most mysterical and scary sound ever, anyway when you havent heard it for a long time..
How todo? Impossible? But where are the music for the levels in the T2-directory?

In your \RES folder, find a file called snd.crf, which is erally only a renamed ZIP file. Open it with your ZIP file program and sort by size. Most of the music will be near the top since they tend to be longer than short sound effects. Just extract the ones you want somewhere.
If you want music from specific missions, ask and someone can help you. As for the Shoalsgate music, I don't know off hand which file it is, but like I said someone will come along and help out if you don't find it yourself first.

but not the Shoalsgate Station-music, as i expect...
that is to say: Someone who know how to get level-music?

You're not going to find the complete song, because it's not there. The music is assembled in real-time by the game from many different WAV files.
Also, some of the music pieces are under MiscVOs.

In order to see what ambient sounds are used in a mission, you have to look at the appropriate schema files in the schema directory of your Thief folder. Mission ambient schemas are designated as AMB-MXX.SCH, where xx is the mission number. The SCH files can be opened with Notepad. There you can find what WAV files were used to make/mix the music.

The last two are the most distinctive and are probably what you are looking for, and the "m04" shows they are mission specific to
Framed. As has been said, the in-game music is made up of different sounds looped and end-to-end, as well as layered. Some fans have made their own soundtracks from the various files: (

hum.wav
throblo.wav
mines2.wav
subson4.wav
voxloop2.wav
m04lo.wav
m04ring.wav

Vasmarok: That's cool, I didn't know that. Problem is, thief 2 does not have a schema folder by default. Where would we find these files?

thanks

Sneaksie, you are right, the original schemas are actually not in the Thief2 folder but in the Editor(Dromed) directory on the first CD of the game. But as Yandros indicated, the updated schemas are better because they have some fixes and extra stuff in them.
