That was my point.

....although you can use transparency on just the glass parts of that texture if you want to instead. That's how I did all of the window objects in
Waterfront Racket.
I don't know what graphics program you use Pedro, but basically what I do in PSP7 is:
* Multiselect only the glass parts of the texture. For PSP that's holding down Shift while I select each area.
* Cut them out (Ctrl-X) and then paste them as a new layer. If they aren't lined up, drag them to line them up, but usually they are.
* At this point it looks just like it did before, except the glass parts are in a separate layer. Now adjust the transparency of the glass layer to what you want.
* Export as a PNG or DDS.
Russ i was able to do it with PSP but after many tries, you forgot to mention that both layers have to be linked, and when you save the file in PNG you select the option "none" instead of interlaced, right?
here's a window i did with opaque glasses in PSP 4:

Many thanks Russ and the other for the suggestions. Now i no longer need two objects, one for the window frame and another for the glass texture with transparency, now i can have both in one object :thumb:

Are you joking LarryG? there are many Photoshops tuturials about countless things you can do with Photoshop, i´m telling you i didn't find one about opaque textures for 3d objects.
Anyway i know already how to do opaque textures.

How many times are people going to have to tell you you're using the word "opaque" backwards until you understand?
