I bought a pack of two games of the sin - "Ritual" and "emergence" , when i finish to instaled and tryed to run the game i got an error , something like this : "couldn´t find steam library.dll" , then i read the jewel case of the game, and noticed in small words : "need to regist steam via net to play the game", is there any way to play this game without needing to connect to net? i don´t have net, and i don´t itend to have it. any suggestion? thanks in advance.

Ritual is the name of Sin's developer, NOT the game itself.
What you're asking for is illegal and can't be discussed here.

I don't think it can be done without using third party work arounds, since sin isn't exactly the most popular game you are unlikely to find up to date cracks etc since it has to be regged with steam and the cracks are always having to be updated I think.
Register the game with steam then play it in offline mode.
(needs to be moved to gen-gaming)

Hang on - the Sin Episode was released on a physical disc format? I thought you could only purchase it online through Steam.

I definitely remember seeing boxed copies in my neck of the woods. It'd be no different than a retail release of a Valve Source game, it's basically a Steam pre-load sold on a disc.

I got retail copies of all my Steam-ready games; Sin Emergence, Orange Box and FEAR 2.

Lug your computer round to a net-enabled friend's house and activate it there, then pray that Offline mode works for you without having to occasionally reconnect.

Or better yet, fucking get internet or gtfo. How are you even on here anyway?

Believe me OP, you're not missing anything.
Just do a google image search for "Jessica Cannon" and you'll see all the game has to offer.

Sure, it brought nothing new to First Person Shooters but I had fun all the way. Zak Belica composed a great soundtrack to the game, and the game had nice action. The only downside I can recall is not to have Blade talk anything. The best thing in Sin was Blades and JCs dialogue and ranting.
I was bloody disappointed when Ritual was bought by MumboJumbo, more so when Sin Episodes 2 & 3 were cancelled. Sure there is talk that Ritual is interested on continuing or making Sin 2 from scratch, and I really hope they do. Maybe someday.
