I preferred the first game to the second, and became too bored with Brotherhood to get very far in it. The first game was repetitive, but at least you were a goddamn assassin doing assassin-y things in it. I don't put a lot of stock in the ZP reviews, but "faffing around creed" pretty much sums up what I've played of the rest of the series.

I ragequit AC:B after my 999th time of failing a stealth mission a good hour after the checkpoint and haven't had the urge to get back into it since. I've got 2 AC games to play through after it. I suspect it may have been a mistake try to do 3 games in a row. Will come back to it when it seems fresh again and hopefully it might feel a bit more interesting.

I've bought 3, but I haven't started yet Revelations, although it's installed and ready to go. I just know there's going to be "moar Dezmondz story!" and like Jason said, faffing around instead of... you know.. being assassin... in a creed.
Maybe 3 is different and returns a bit to 1... but it doesn't really matter because technology and aliens (spoil tag as if people don't know by now) and most "importantly" Desmond.
