How to run thief DP and Gold on windows XP

Hello

I'am just wondering if ther is someone who can help me solve my problem

I bought recently thief antology and here my problems began

First my hardware configuration

intel core 2 2.13 mhz
4 gb RAM 800 mhz Patriot
graphic card asus geforce 8600 gs with latest nvidia drivers 169.xx

i want to play thief DP gold fun missions but without result ive installed thief DP Gold it starts but when the loading of fm mission or oryginal missions ends game frezzes

Can someone give me sollution step by step

i'am tired of looking for help in diffrent parts of the ttlg forum

Hi, Tom. This would be our first checkpoint. Your processor is hyperthreading. When Thief Gold has started, try alt-tabbing out and turn off CPU 1 for the Thief program in the Task Manager by right-clicking on its process name in the Processes tab and selecting "Affinities..." Alt-tab back into Thief Gold and see if that helps. If not, we should have a closer look at your GForce.
