Suewan, which town are you visiting then?
Sensut, Perhaps an idea for a later gathering??
I would like to come :thumb:
Just tonight I went to a concert of André Rieu in Maastricht, his hometown. We had two Canadians and two Germans in our group of friends.
I don't know about the costs for a planeticket from Canada to Holland, but we have some ticketproviders here that are really quit cheap, without having to be worried about safety :ebil::laff:
I still have a lot of research to do about this whole organisation, but let me know who else is interested.

I would be delighted to attend, if for no other reason than to meet my favorite Teddy maker.
And then all those I have antagonized over the years could have the priviledge of beating me to death with Blackjacks. :D
Unfortunately my current situation precludes the expense, although I would very much like, without reservation, to meet you all.

I know I'm not one of the core group on this forum but I've been looking for an excuse to go to the Netherlands for a while now. Thiefy tours sound like a lot of fun!
Plus, I'm only in Ireland so a ticket won't be too expensive (especially if Ryanair go through with their plan to get rid of seats from half the planes to make room for people to stand up instead).
I'll be following this thread with interest :P

Great!
It'll take some time, but I'm brainstorming how to get some sponsoring done here .....
Let me think a bit :sly:

How far away are you from Gorinchem in South Holland?
This is the 3-bridge city on which the City in Thief is based, and there are a few landmarks to see, most famously our beloved haunted Cathedral.
It might be too far for a meeting ... but it's fun to think about.
count me in on this :D
I know, I know, I´m mapping for TDM now!, but TTLG is like my second home ;) and I would very mutch like to put some faces on people her :)

It'll take some time, I'm sure, but I already am tallking to some authorithies who can lead me to some sponsoring canals around here ....'
I've got some great ideas about visiting some THIEFLIKE environmental estates and beyond that ..... ThiefLike environments :sly:
Just give me some time ...

You know, Russians still need Shengen visa to visit most of European countries. And it can be a BIG problem if you are not a member of touristic group.
Shame. Thief fans shouldn't be limited by borderlines!
SinisterShadow on 20/7/2010 at 08:13
Aren't there enough taffers in Russia to form a touristic group?
demagogue on 20/7/2010 at 22:06
Some of our best fans are Russian. Funny how a game world doesn't have the same borders as we do. We all feel a little home in the same City.

Well said. Sometimes life could be so easy...

Creating special shirts for all participants of the meeting is guaranteed to increase the fun-factor and to confuse the fellow citizens:
