Borderlands had humour?
You're very generous in your ratings. I very much enjoyed alpha protocol, but would probably only give it a 7.5 or maybe 8 at a stretch. Borderlands gets a six because it's too repetitive.

The only game I've played is Lego Star Wars, and I'd give it a 6/10. It's kinda fun, but gets boring fast. I finished Episodes 1-3, but got bored halfway through episode 4 and haven't gone back to it. Your opinion may vary.

I find it kind of strange that borderlands is regarded so highly. I gave up on it very quickly -- it felt dull, sort of buggy and unpolished. The PC version's UI is a complete clusterfuck (though to be honest, it's a confusing mess that's probably about as bad on the xbox).

I've only played the bottom 3.
If you want lego I slightly preferred Indiana Jones to starwars. Anyway, definitely more fun 2 player even though you'll have arguments.
The diablo clones are both pretty boring. Sacred 2 looks a lot nicer and probably has deeper levelling. DS2 has npcs but it was pretty linear up to the point where I got bored. Sacred 2 gives you more freedom from the start but the story was therefore less involving.
I suggest divine divinity instead - stupid title but witty game

It's the only one I've played from the list and would agree that it gets boring if played solo. However, it's a great game to play through with a friend / girlfriend / wife and given the nature of the gameplay is not in the least intimidating.

So we've pretty much established that Lego Star Wars is best played multiplayer. By itself it holds up, but not for too long.
I've tried Sacred 2 with a few friends once, for like 45 minutes. I was the Shadow Warrior, he was the closest thing to a ninja, since he had Shadow Veil. He was fun, and I could customise him, but what really ticked me off was how ugly he was. All right, he's not that hideous, but I'm not fond of playing a character that reminds me of Sarah Jessica Parker.
As for single-player... no idea. But I hope my input is useful.
