I gave it a 3. Reason is, because I found it quite bad as a game, except the one exception we all know of. ;)
To be honest, I only played it because it was Thief, otherwise I found it really badly done in many areas (but we all have ssen those threads a hundred times by now so I wont repeat it here again). Most noticable in my mind sticks the horrible animation of the human models. The body awareness at least I got used to so it was not THAT bad.

Unlike Invisible war, I could tell the developers actually tried.
Oddly, I liked Invisible War much much more.
And the Cradle was meh.

I gave it an 8, but to be honest the number's somewhat arbitrary. In its best moments, I enjoyed the game as much as the first two, and it's those moments that I remember best. Change two things - the floaty controls and the split-up levels - and I'd enjoy it as much as the previous games. With the Minimalist Project, the first of these already felt better; now if that fan project to combine all the individual bits of a level works out, I won't have any major quibbles with the game. (Except the silly writing for the pagans, but I wasn't all that keen on them to begin with.)

Best game in the series IMO. Perhaps they'll top it with T4 but who knows.
