Does anyone know how to get the HUD elements to be a decent size at resolutions above 1024 x 768?
I'm playing as 1280 x 1024, and the HUD is simply enormous! The belt item bar alone is at least 10% of the screen height!
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Drop resolution?

I'm guessing that the HUD is always at a certain proportion. No luck.
But yea, you could drop to 1024x768 and turn up the details.

I always thought that was weird as well, but if you compare 1280x1024 to 1152x864 you'll notice a difference not only in the HUD size, but in the actual size of what you see. From the smallest up to 1152x864, when you boost the resolution, everything gets smaller, with more stuff on the screen. At 1280x1024 though, everything is big again, with less on the screen, but with much better defination and detail.
Personally, I'd prefer it at 1152x864 because of the size of everything, not just the HUD (I run it at 1024x768 though, 'cause that's all my comp can handle).
I checked all the .ini configuration files, and didn't find anything that listed the HUD sizes. It might be in one of the engine system files. I'd bet that you could use the SDK to open it up and change that sort of thing around, if you were so inclined.
