Gish has been added to the deal along with three minigames from the Voxatron creators (Jasper's Journeys, Chocolate Castle and Zen Puzzle Garden). The minigames are not really my cup of tea but you can always (

I've definitely played TBOI the most out of the games in this bundle. The humour is rather warped as others have pointed out but it's much more surreal than offensive. Each game has enough differences to keep it interesting and I'm still finding new items. Pills are the most annoying as there doesn't seem to be a good way to predict their effects.

I guess I'm addicted to The Binding of Isaac. There really is a whole lot of stuff in this game, and it keeps unlocking more! I do something in one game, and all of a sudden there are new bosses turning up (and I'm sure I still don't know what at least half the items I've found actually do).
I've only finished it once (I got the "Epilogue" ending) and I'm not even sure whether I won or lost? It all happened pretty suddenly while I was in the process of trying to take a health pill during the boss battle (first time I'd reached it, and I was getting thumped, but I also had a kick-ass weapon), and I thought I had enough health to not go down in one hit, so I don't really know what happened...
It's frustrating when you're all powered up (which generally means you look pretty disgusting!) and thinking "this time I surely cannot lose", and then proceed to screw it up; but the game does reward persistence.

Pretty sure they're like potions in crawl and change between games (but are consistent for the duration of a playthrough)

Yeah, once you've taken a given type of pill, its name is displayed if you happen to find another one. I tend to take unknown pills immediately, on the basis that recognising them will be more useful later in the game.

Also both the Lucky Foot (Cain starts with this one) and PHD powerups ensure you never get any crap pills i.e. the ones that decrease stats.
Anyway, after being hopelessly addicted to this in the last week, I've finished it 10 times and unlocked the last character ??? (no normal hearts, has to live on soul hearts) but I've only beaten Satan once.

I finally beat Mom! and proceeded to break her heart
I actually ended up with a quite ludicrously powerful attack, so I would have been pretty gutted if I'd failed. That said, some of the fights looked like they would have been pretty insane otherwise...

Stats say I've killed Mom (Mom's Heart actually) 18 times now. Plus Satan 3 times, I believe. And there's still more stuff being unlocked! Extremely compulsive and awesome game, this. I hope they keep on adding content to it every now and again.
