Well. Hmm. I guess after The Outfit bombed, DoW II was a test of some sort. They're certainly opening up their horizons with a bang. Good thing this isn't an X360 exclusive.

No, but it is a console exclusive.
What little gameplay footage there was in that trailer (resembling gameplay footage anyway, most of it was obviously scripted cutscenes), looked more Dynasty Warriors-esque hack and slash rather than anything resembling Gears of War.
We'll know for sure once they reveal more info, hopefully at E3.

a) What's with the terribly OTT opera music?
b) Could they have picked a less exciting sounding name than "Space Marine"?
c) RTS-level graphics in a 3rd-person action game? Some of those orks especially looked like they could do with a few thousand more polygons.
d) Didn't see any interesting-looking gameplay, just derivative special-move based beat-em-upiness.
