Well, there is this unfairly unknown FM by Firemage called The Wooden Box which is based entirely on randomization; back in 2015, people played it only one time, said "ok" and discarded it away without knowing this gimmick.

If memory serves, one of the keys in T2's Eavesdropping is randomly located between a few possible locations.

That setup involves a lot more than using the "delete all but one" scenario. In Eavesdropping they have all of the fake keys placed and are expecting them to be placed where they are. If I looked at it correctly the KeyGuy script teleports the real key to the location of one of the fake keys and copies the ~Contains links to the real key. The fake key that is being replaced appears to be deleted after the swap takes place because the player still only finds one key in each location.

The best randomizer has to be Komag's Mind Master. The blue room is bigger than the actual mission space, and it spawns frogs in pens which randomly trip triggers that randomly spawn the four color types and kill the other triggers. Elaborate but it always worked.

Unrelated but in the category of something automated; I wish I had a tool to automatically turn every max sided cylinders in oldark .MIS to be max side in newdark. So many past missions would look pretty with super round cylinders/arches. Max for old dark so it leaves alone initially limited sized once for effect.
