I'm bummed out because both (http://games.ign.com/objects/025/025261.html) Looking Glass and (http://games.ign.com/objects/026/026280.html) Ion Storm have gone out of business. So who is going to carry on the great tradition of the Thief series?

Are there any games out there that are similar to Thief? I am bored of first-person shooters and would like a game that lets you sneak around like Thief.

Ummmm....you have checked out the extensive Fan Mission selection haven't you? If not, get on in there now...that'll keep you busy for a few years.

So there is some work being done by the community to keep Thief alive.

I know this might be considered sacrilege, but I always enjoyed the Splinter Cell games for stealth action.
