rockon! has it already been 10 years? wow, it is pretty incredible considering how fast my freinds plow through games...literally from plastic wrap to ebay in a matter of weeks. I think it's only getting worse too...just glancing over this forum for the first time in awhile for a few minutes has given me an apetite for thief again. I think i'll try to find the discs...

Jeez, Jarvis, I feel the same way as you. I'm 14 and T2 was the first game I ever played, and it just amazes me that the franchise lives on with you people.
A vast majority of game series that haven't had 'proper' new installments for 8 years are forgotten forever, but Thief lives on. If you think about it, it's pretty flipping amazing.
You're right, Thief is special, and it's the only game that I've played that never ages (yeah, maybe technologically, but you'd never get tired of playing a level, and with all the content out there, you can never truly expend your interest).
Well done Jarvis, you pretty much hit the nail on the head there - the reason that Thief has lived on is because of this community, and this community has a group of very amazing people behind it.
