I tried to make it look as authentic as possible with the hand done stitching and the parchment paper. It might not come through because my handwriting isn't very good, but I actually did use a quill pen for the text. I grabbed a cheap cartridge based one from a hobby store.
Ah, sorry, I hadn't expanded the image to full size and couldn't tell that you had used a quill pen until I did. Yes, that looks pretty good. There are a couple of simple techniques that would make that stand out a bit more, if you're interested.

ZB might never land a job in the diplomatic corps, but come on, at least he expressed something many of us really thought. At least I hope so, because it's really sad to see a group of people showering with praises a medicore work just because "TTLG is awesome like that".

I think the project idea is pretty awesome, even if the execution leaves something to be desired for some. It's certainly better than I could do. And I kinda want a compilation of hammer texts now. I'd also like to point out that art typically grows out of a supportive, rather than critical, environment. Anyhow, thanks for posting. ^_^
ZB tends to be harsh in his evaluations, but I'd like to think that somewhere past the hard candy coating, is a soft marshmallow center.
