Sheeple and their sheeple entertainment. Can't stand em.
Well... the Harry Potter books are alright, I guess...

I'm replaying Diablo II right and now and I'm finding it too wordy.
Plus there's no Brothel of Slaking Intellectual Lusts, so it gets an insta-fucking fail.

I posted the following in another forum, not 15 minutes ago, while talking about Prisoner of Azkaban:
I could criticize (... )the way Rowling's prose seems to deliberately treat the reader like someone mentally handicapped. Her books feel like the written equivalent of the condescending tone some adults use when speaking with very young children.

The strength of PS:T's writing and plot comes from the fact that they are integrated into Torment's gameplay. If you don't realize this than you don't understand anything about PS:T.
I've said this before and I'll say it again: Torment's gameplay isn't limited to its combat.
Koki on 16/12/2009 at 20:04
But goddamn the combat is awful.
(replaying it ATM)
Still, if I wanted all combat and no words there's BG saga and IWD for that so it's all cool

No, but its combat is shit enough to ruin the game. Nice attempt at trolling, though, shitheels.

I initially read that as 'shiteels'. Which would actually make a very compelling insult.
Phatose on 16/12/2009 at 20:57
I assume that the people who have Torment's combat also hate it in Baldur's gate, being that it's exactly the same mechanic?
Stitch on 16/12/2009 at 21:52
This just in: Torment actually is far too wordy.
