Taff.
I have been busy modding Fallout 3, I at least need to visit. Well, I don't think I have been here in a year. That means a few dozen fms right? Speaking of which, is there any problems that I need to be aware about with Thief and Windows 7? It's just I haven't played since I got Vister.
I got a friend I met online interested in Thief, but she only has A mac. Although I believe it is highly unlikely, is there a way to play thief on a mac? Oh Builder, I never thought I would ever say that.
Thanks!
Help the thief wiki! I'm comin for ya!

Two things to say.
The Dark Mod and Rose Cottage.

You have much catching up to do, Thief and its predecessors are alive and well.

From my experience with Thief and Windows 7, when I exit in the game to get to the options menu or whenever I read anything in the level, the screen freezes and I have to ctrl-alt-tab out of the game and then back in to continue. Looks like the game is doing what it's supposed to in the background but it somehow is not registering that an overlay has been drawn(it is an overlay right?). I changed the compatibility setting around to see that would do anything but so far nothing. I have a GTX 260 though so that may be it. Other than that annoyance, the game runs well in Windows 7.
Is anyone else having this happen.

So no info for uh, other, platforms, that I mentioned? Thanks for the tips for 7.

I think you should be OK on a Mac if you use bootcamp into XP. Not sure though as I don't personally have one.
Win7 is definitely OK, you just need to make sure you don't install to the Program Files directory. DDFix works fine on it except that fog is broken on some missions on the latest nvidia cards - although I gather they're currently working on fixing this.

SiO2 fixed fog for all nVidia card months ago, Brian. It's great having fog again after over a year without it!

Ah OK, the version I had had "Beta" warnings stuck all over it, but I see it's now sorted :)
