So I am playing around with the new patch of course like most of you I would guess :)
Playing thief gold and currently on Cragscleft prison.
I have no idea how many times I have played through thief 1/g but its a lot!
I was never able to find the supposed secret exit and its always bugged the crap out of me!
Apparently as I just learned its NOT THERE on expert and since I only play on expert I could not find it.
It is only there on normal and hard.
Just saying it is amusing that I can still learn something new about the game after like 13 years.

Hmm well if you almost only played in Expert mode so far that's not much of a surprise. There are indeed some differences in some missions depending on difficulty, for example the number of guards that patrol the "bathroom" area outside of the throne room in Bafford's manor, or the areas to the Mystic Heart and Mystic Soul which may not be accessible in the Bonehoard if I remember well.

There are indeed some major differences depending on the difficulty settings. The number and placement of guards, cameras and even walls can be different dependent on the settings. Nevertheless the secret exit in Cragscleft doesn't really make sense on normal. When you are on top of the barracks you have won anyway.
