Okay, it's not just my book. A friend of mine did basically all the art! So, if not for me, donate for her, she's wunderbar.
A quick tl;dr -- precious art school flower makes comic, I and said friend enjoy it, precious art school flower turns into angry ridiculous flower, pulls a Phil Fish where he basically is a dick to everyone, then takes his ball and goes home after deleting his comic and burning copies of books people bought from him and then blames capitalism, friend and I make parody comic.

We ended up cancelling the Kickstarter -- I had some major second thoughts today and when I heard that Campbell had snuck back onto the internet to quietly start handing books out, the artist and I figured after some discussion that there was no point in the project anymore.
So uh, ignore this thread I guess. Give your money to fett.

I was partly concerned about my reputation as well. You of all people should understand that. The artist herself wanted to stay anonymous.
