It's all over. I got outbid on my way to work! Somebody wanted it bad...
I think the floppy version is still available so I'm going to buy that. Honestly I can't tell whether I should be happy or not. I'm happy about getting the thing period obviously. The other thing I realized though is that if it's wrapped (original wrapping) I can't open it, which I REALLY want to do so I can see all the cool stuff inside! :D How can I cope with such twangs of anxiety, looking at the box that I cannot touch?
At least the floppy version is a "buy it now" item.

You won't be missing much inside the box itself; the only things in it would be the disks, Terminal Access and a technical supplement IIRC.

Yup. And Terminal Access is online anyway.

Ohhhh man it's like the world hates me.... After losing the bid I found a copy on amazon, brand new and it's even cheaper but it won't let me buy because i'm in canada?! what crap is that?
Going out on a limb here but does anyone live near Tennasee (sp?) who could buy this for me and ship to me? I'll throw in some extra cash to make it worth the while.

CanadaSeems like it
should let you buy?
RocketMan on 20/2/2009 at 17:02
oh....well it gives an error saying "there is a slight problem with shipping the order to the address provided" or soemthing like that and then it says either change the quantity to 0 to fix the problem (what the fuck?) or change the address (how many addresses do most ppl have?)
I like how not being able to sell you something is a "slight problem" to amazon

Try putting in a query with their Customer Service - they're usually pretty fast at getting back to you.

I have the original copy (CD-version) in very good condition with manuals (there's a thin black/white manual with how to install etc + the manual for the game) + CD in a clear CD-case + box ofcourse.
The only wear i can notice is on the side of the black box where there's a blue sticker that states the requirements, that sticker has a little wear on it.
I can take photos of it.
Anyone interested? (Just bought 2 more SSD disks so i'm almost broke, lol.)
