I know some of you have been waiting for a very long time for a scan of Emil Pag's journal. I'm incredibly sorry that I have been gone so long and left you all wondering what happened to it. I really, truly feel awful. I'm a fan of Thief too, and I know I'd be pissed if someone had stiffed me like I have stiffed all of you twice over the past two months. These past few months have just been some of the worst of my life, and have made it incredibly difficult to do much of anything. I've taken so long simply because I've not had the time, and at certain points the means, to get a scan of the entire journal up and delivered to all of you. I'm sorry- you're all great people, this is a great community, and I know I've caused some trouble. I'm sorry for all the silence, and the long wait. Please forgive me, I never saw any of this coming back in June.
Having said that, I do still have the journal, and (finally) a scanner which works correctly. Scanning each page in, making corrections, etc. takes a bit of time, since the journal itself is quite long, and each page needs to be scanned, cropped, rotated and scaled down. I have the first fifty pages contained in a PDF on my site. They contain information and some schematics about the three levels that would have been shipped with Thief II gold, as well as some interview notes, and brief mentions of Thief III (which is discussed at length in later pages). I will be releasing the rest of the journal, which will probably be two or three more PDF files, over the course of the week. Again, I'm truly sorry for the wait and lack of communication on my part. I'm sorry it could not be the entire scan, I would have waited until I had everything complete, but I thought everyone had waited long enough and that something was better than nothing at all. Barring any unforeseen, life-shattering, end-of-the-world style events, I'll have the rest of the journal up by this Friday. Thanks very much to Emil for the journal, and to the rest of you, for waiting so patiently. I swear it won't be much longer now.

Thanks so much for taking valuable time to scan this in. I realize how hard it actually is to scan. I once scanned an entire Air Force course I was studying so I didn't have to carry the book with me on deployments, just had it on a trusty CD.
No harm, no foul. We understand you have a thing called real life, which frequently takes priority over any taffing.

I wouldn't apologize.. you won the contest, and really, you owe nothing to the community. We're the lucky ones in that you actually DID scan it and upload it. So, thanks a lot, I appreciate it! :D :)

Ok, ignore the first three lines. I think the problem was with the huge amount of rain we've been getting here in South Australia! Had to restart my router a couple times. And now the link worked!
Dang! What's wrong with Internet Explorer? It's freezing mutiple times when I try to download the file. Peeing me off!
Edit: No worries, I did 'Save as Target' and it downloaded in about 2 mins!
