I see it just fine R34V3R, there's nothing wrong with your screenshot. I can't check it myself as the game isn't installed, but I vaguely recall a couple of errors like this on the first level of vanilla TDS, so I'd hazard a guess it isn't the fault of the updated texture pack.

It looks like the edge of the footprint static mesh. The footprints were actually a flat square mesh with an alpha texture of 5 or 6 footprints on it. This mesh was then repeated and placed end-to-end to create a path of prints. I guess JohnP accidentally left a bright line of pixels on the edge of the texture or something.

well i noticed its on the original textures too... and ascott, how did u get the gamma to brighten the screen?

It's a hole in the FleshBSP. If you open it in the editor you can see it easy enough, and the sky and some of the smeshes where they extend out of the world through it.
There's a few other holes in the level if you go looking for them, but nothing big enough to squeaze through.
