Did that new guy just delete his own thread, or was it removed? If the latter, deleting the new person's "hello" threads probably isn't the best way to welcome new folk and increase the poster base.
Also, looking at the Cars thread, I'm uncertain as to why there hasn't been some sort of "Settle down, kids" from the brass. That'd be a start. It's the way all decent forums I've seen run, and it works pretty well. "Guys, knock it off," and if they don't, a temp ban.

Or look at the Basterds thread and realise that the same chucklefucks have been pounding this place with their relentless and humourless form of conversation for so long that everyone, possibly the admins/mods included, have become deadened to it.

That "new guy" created four threads that consisted of nothing but trivia copied and pasted off of some...medical articles or something. No, there was no "hello" or any sort of an effort to engage the forum on a personal level. I don't care about what happened to him or his 'threads,' and I was actually glad to see they were deleted promptly, albeit not before some unassuming folks here responded in one of them.

Yep, he was banned. All his posts on other threads also vanished. I seem to recall he was a proud Justin Bieber fan.
