It's called (
http://audiojungle.net/) Audiojungle. It's a site that allows you to create your own sounds and, after a reviewing process by the staff, post them online for sale.
I post sounds there regularly. I only have 8 sounds up there right now, but I've already made $7.50 from sounds I made from scratch. It doesn't cost anything and it's a neat way for sound designers to make a bit of money. Given how sound is an important aspect for us Taffers, anyone who uses Audacity a lot should take a shot at it. :)

Oh AWESOME :D
I regularly sit with Adobe Audition open just fucking around with sounds and twisting them into new things and I only use about 5% of what I make :)

My username on there is Blinn, and I have some sounds up for sale. :)

Interesting, A quick cursory look has me seeing lots of music clips, I hope there's something else in there for sound design.
Could potentially spend a lot of time browsing.

There is something for sound design. They're in a separate category from music. I've got some sound effects up there already to prove it.

I really like Absynth... I'm such a synthesizer nut.
But I really like this site as a depository for a lot of cool sounds!

Also try Pond5.com. They have a market for sound effects just like Audiojungle. I personally would stick with Audiojungle if you're an author of your own sound effects because there's more activity on that site and sales tend to happen quicker. It's a bit harder to go through the reviewing process than Pond5, but I'd say it's totally worth it.
