I found out something new about myself today.
I was watching 30 Rock and this little fella shows up, as a guest star. And I go "Hey! Thats Peter Dinkelage! He was really good in Game of Thrones and In Bruges!". So I grab my iPad, which I keep next to my TV-watching-chair for exactly the purpose of looking up actors' careers when I see someone I like in something I'm watching. SO ANYWAY I go to imdb and type in peter dinkelage and browse through his career and then I'm like "Hey why isn't In Bruges listed here? Has IMDB messed up!?". I say this to myself I should point out because there was noone else in the room THANKFULLY, because then they would've bore witness to my dwarf-racism. Then I type in In Bruges directly into the searchbar and look up the actors and guess what! The little guy in that movie? WHOLE DIFFERENT LITTLE GUY!
Clearly because it was a little guy I just assumed it must be Dinkelage. And he was white so that ruled out Tony Cox.
This really made me question some things about myself. :tsktsk:

I've got white people confused with each other before now, and I am white. I don't think it's a prejudice thing, it's just a confusion thing.
As a scientist, I'd at least have to wait until you did it twice more before considering you as prejudiced.

haha subjeff caught me repeating my dwarf-racism before I had time to edit my post. I can't even tell Verne Troyer and Tony Cox apart. :o

I decided to do some Googling to see if I could find something to help me with my dwarf-racism and I came across this screenshot of a game called Dwarf Fortress.

Sentenced to 3 months of community service by the dwarven council henke still couldn't tell Moria dwarves from the flatland breed.

I find I don't even notice a person's height when dealing with them. This does get me in trouble when sharing booze with little kids, but at least no one can accuse me of being prejudiced.
