Moreover, it's quickly and easily made almost no matter where you are!

I miss the Blackjack wind up as well (being able to hold it up)
I wish we could still KO alerted servants (instead of them just mocking us as they run away)
I really wish the BJ weren't so picky! Sometimes the AI will turn to be hit, but other times the hit just makes them mad!
I can kind of appreciate the T3 guards or its City Watch, with some sort of head protection, virtually ignoring the BlackJack's effects. But it is almost embarassing to have a totally unprotected citizen simply running through and then away from a flurry of BJ hits.
(So I guess that I have to remember the "free cost" of using it, perhaps?) :erm:
But start hitting them with the blade and suddenly, things go back to "normal"?
(But then you have to kill them?)

I think the new blackjack makes more sense. To use it properly you need to get into position before you can perform a KO. Previously you could KO from pretty much any direction - but I don't think you can KO a person by hitting them just anywhere on the head.

So, for un-armored T3 folks, three good strikes and they are out? :thumb:
And perhaps for ones with helmets, nine strikes is the "ballgame" for them?

Ive just returned to Thief 3, after finally buying a new video card that will let me run it in more than 800x600 with all detail off!
Any news if theres a mod to enable the old blackjack wind up?
