am still writing a thing, in fact. A thing about Stalker.
It's one of those silly play stories/experiments people do from time to time.
edit: I could summarise it a bit better I suppose. People might take dethtoll literally or something.
It's the continuing story of a perma-death/Iron Man/Let's Play... sort of thing using Stalker. Only I play on the hardest difficulty, using AMK and realistic weaponry and see how far I can get (not far) and then try again. And write about what happens, o' course.
Why am I mentioning it here? Well I'm interested in just how much people other than Stalker nuts could care about it. Gen gaming has such people.
It's still pretty unweildy. I haven't settled on a good format or tidied up the blog aspects (I'm more interested in using blogger as a convenient instant web page than a "Blog" and don't really know what widgets to slather on it or what to write in them).
Anyway, without further ado
(

The Many Deaths of The Marked One
or (
http://manydeaths.blogspot.com/2009/11/single-step.html) link straight to what it's all about
(and tell me how indescribably boring it is, or whatever, right here since it's likely easier than leaving messages over there)

Please, just stop lying to yourself and call it fanfic.

It's not true. I don't save the day, nor do I have sex with any of the main characters.

I'm sorry, but viewing that site gives me a migraine. Why on Earth have you formatted it for 800x600? Is it intended for PDA viewing or some such?

I don't know. I was wondering about that sort of thing. It's pretty much the template defaults as far as I know. It's not altogether different from similar stuff I've seen, not on my screen anyway. Doesn't control +/- help?

Ok, I put new margin settings in (thanks to a tipster in blogger tweaking)
You can have a look around and see if it's better/worse/broken in hilarious ways. Looks alright so far from my end.

I hope this isn't dead and buried Muzman - it's a great read so far :D

Best blog I've read in a long time. Some dude over at Freylia.net or something had some good stuff occasionally, but this tops that. I mean, his adventures seem so fake, now, driving across the country, sans TTLG Gnome. Yours include whirligigs and bandits, that's the stuff I'm talking about!
Seriously, I enjoyed the stories I read. You have a nice talent for writing, stick to it.
On a side note, everytime I ask for the Death Toll mission in L4D, I always type, "Dethtoll" and people are like, dude, you always spell Death Toll wrong, and I'm like, nope. That's the way you spell it.

Oh, attention's bitter sweet kiss. Cheers. Yeah it's still going. I've just got this other project I really need to get out the door, but it's been dragging on for months. Hopefully I'll get the next expedition done soon though.

Just FYI: I have been reading your blog. I like it, and here's hoping it keeps going.
