I'm certain of it. Still, you really ought to try that particular combination of mods. People forget how often they die and just reload and keep going.

I very much did... still consider AMK 1.4 the best SoC mod overall, and I made realistic weapons myself since I didn't like the mess they came up with(at the time, maybe they fixed it by now, but I doubt it). I don't remember what difficulty I was playing on but I do remember dying from just two-three bullets from AK74Us so it was pretty "okay".
But seriously, how COULD you miss stuff in that trailer in something like ten playthroughs?
[Edit] Oh yeah, are you playing with stashes in "Random, rare" mode? That''s probably best feature of AMK, seriously.

Yeah that's kinda sad. I blame too many hours 'freeplaying' with more resources than I knew what to do with. That and the impatience of wanting to get somewhere made me a lot less scrupulous than necessary early on.
It won't help the case any I guess, but the glacial writing pace doesn't reflect that most of the expeditons were played one after the other. I was still playing 'like normal' way too long.
(Just stashes normal for this. I thought I might get too lucky too early. But I haven't tried it in a while. I seem to remember mamas beads and FN2000s showing up in Cordon sometimes. Seemed a bit much)

I've been playing AMK for the last few days and holy crap. Was it always this hardcore? The silenced PMm is still pew-pew, but other than that, I killed military guys with three-five bullets from Beretta, and once you get any kind of automatic weapon it's game over, whoever shoots first wins(at least until you find two +20% Bulletproof Cap artifacts and SSP-99M in a lucky stash, heh heh).
And that is all vanilla AMK, no weapon add-ons or anything.
So yeah, you're forgiven your failed attempts
