How good is the stealth in Arx? I'm very much a rogue/sneaker-style player in these games, so good/bad stealth can make or break a game for me.

It's as good as the character you build. It seems doubtful to me that you could ghost any decent chunk of the game, but it's a useful skill. The game is a modern Ultima Underworld, although I guess it's old enough now that someone could probably make an unofficial Arx sequel.

The stealth isn't so great, but there are plenty of magics to help you get the jump on people.

Thanks for the continued suggestions. The security camera idea is a good one - especially the mechanist face. It's shape and single 'eye' is the kind of iconic imagery I'm after that can be represented with an illustration, not a screenshot.

Yeah, I agree with Sulphur. Security Camera sums up most things in a single image, and the thief 2 ones have a pretty iconic look.
