SlyFoxx hasn't been around for a while, and I certainly hope things are okay in the long run, but it would be a shame if some FMs were put on hold due to his absence. My idea is for those of use who have benefited from SF's voice acting to pool our resources. Many of the recordings would work for a number of FMs, so we could write down what he's recorded for us. Other FM authors could then browse the list and see what they can use.
Here are the lines for three of my FMs. There's not quite in order, and I've left out the things that are very specific to the plot. Be warned though. Even without those things, certain plot twists may be revealed.
(One block of spoiler code for each mission)
All Torc:
came_for.wav
Well, I've got what I came for. I don't think I should worry too much about the loot.
cantrisk.wav
I can't risk stealing anything from here. If someone notices they won't let the steam cart go until they've found the culprit.
m19B.wav
This had better be good.
m19E.wav
I'm not really safe anywhere.
m19G.wav
I think I can handle a few bluecoats.
m19I.wav
So they'll be here in two days. Unlike me.
m19K.wav
I know how to get to a lot of places. There's no such thing as too many escape routes.
m23C.wav
This is fine. Here's the Torc.
m23D.wav
Well these gems won't spend themselves, so I'd better to it for them.
one_enough.wav
I think just one of these will be enough. If I take any more they may get suspicious.
(note: I loudened this because of loud ambient noise, and it's lost some quality)
Stones and Glass Houses:
(note: the .... is there for something very specific to the plot)
GemConv2.WAV
As long as you have the money.
GemConv4.WAV
Whatever you do with those gems, make sure Lord Sarringham doesn't find out where they came from.
thug.WAV
These are the gems. This guy must be one of the thugs.
cgfound.WAV
That must be Sarringham's chief guard. I'd better not disturb him.
damage.WAV
I wonder what happened here. The bluecoats wouldn't do all this damage to a nobleman's mansion, and neither would the Hammers.
hurry1.WAV
I shouldn't keep the jeweller waiting too long.
hurry2.WAV
I think the jewller's been waiting long enough. He'll be wondering where I am.
nosign.WAV
There's no sign of that guy. I must have been out for some time.
notyet.WAV
I can use these gates when I've finished, but for now I should leave them closed.
pris1.WAV
This leads to the prison, but I'd prefer to stay away from that place.
pris2.WAV
I can't go to the prison yet. I still need to recover my money.
pris3.WAV
This leads to the prison, but first I'll need to recover my money.
PrisMap.WAV
I'm sure there's someone who would pay good money for this map, so I should keep hold of it.
bmL01.WAV
Hello Lord Barnham. Nice night isn't it?
bmL03.WAV
You seem to be in a difficult position.... If they find it, you'll be in quite a bit of trouble. On the other hand, you have a couple of names you could give them, in return for a lesser punishment.
bmL05.WAV
.... they'll never find it, and you won't get any punishment.
bmL07.WAV
Do you have any idea what's going on? Your house is being smashed to pieces while they look for it. They'll find it sooner or later. Now I'm not giving you a choice. .... which will spare you from any punishment. In return, you won't ever tell them anything about me. Is that clear?
bmL09.WAV
They won't know why I'm here. I could just be taking advantage of your regular guards being away. That's why I'm also helping myself to every bit of loose gold I come across. It may be a high price, ....
bmL11.WAV
That's right. Now, tell me where you've hidden it. I'd like to be finished before sunrise.
bmL13.WAV
Okay, I'd better get moving then. I bid you goodnight milord.
(quite sarcastic!)
KConvL2.WAV
Oh you mean the job I was offered as soon as I arrived in the place YOU suggested would be a good place to hide in!
KConvL4.WAV
And why should I care about this?
KConvL6.WAV
He'd lose out quite badly, so he could try to find a way out of it.
KConvL8.wav
Right, well I'm glad you told me about this, but I wouldn't be in this mess if you hadn't set me up with the .... You're an ass.
pconv2.WAV
Well don't just stand there. Tell me.
pconv4.WAV
We can't have that.
pconv6.wav
I can make sure the bluecoats never find ...., but I don't like rescuing people.
pconv9.WAV
So much for the Keepers watching events from a distance.
The Unsung Villain:
gar9914.WAV
Guess I'll have to find another way in. That white engraving by the back door might mean something.
gar9915.WAV
Hmm, can't get up there.
gar9916.WAV
.... playing a dangerous game. Any proof that he wanted to keep the gem for himself would cause him quite a bit of trouble.
gar9917.WAV
I won't be able to get back up there. Guess I'll have to find another way out.
(note: with new_mantle, you can get back up there :( )
gar9918.WAV
I really shouldn't open the gate until it's time to leave.
gar9919.WAV
This must open the gate, but I shouldn't open it too soon or the guards may get suspicious. I can come back here when it's time to leave.

This is an awesome idea, even if Sly returns to us. It won't solve my problem of needing some more lines for DCE as they're very mission specific, but it will no doubt prove useful. Some time soon I'll do the same for my own missions that he's done voice work for.
MysteryMan on 22/10/2013 at 06:10
Sly did this for Till Death Do Us Part: The briefing video.
A criminal who calls himself "Willie the Whacker" saw my friends out having some celebration drinks at the Burrick's Head Inn, and must have figured to cash in on them. He is a known kidnapper and blackmailer, and is known for carrying out his threats if payment isn't made. Just arriving at the Baron's Museum for a hefty haul I had been planning for a few weeks, a shadowy figure approached me, slipping a ransom note in my hand, and leaving like the wind. Willie is demanding 11,000 loot, for payment by 1:30 a.m. tonight, which only leaves me about 45 minutes to get into the museum, and it seems Basso and Jenivere have tied the knot ! Not surprising, although, their Honeymoon was anything but sweet !
I still have to run down my fence in South Quarter, and that may take some time. Once I fence the museum booty, I have to meet Willie at the Burrick's Head Inn to arrange the release of my friends. I have no choice but pay him promptly or my friends are doomed. Not a heart warming Honey Moon, and I am sure they would agree. Time to get to work ! 45 minutes in, and out, then to the fence. Hopefully I wont be late. The clock is ticking !

What happened to Sly? No one's spoke with him or emailed him or anything like that?
LarryG on 22/10/2013 at 16:57
I've emailed & PM'd with no response. It's been a couple of months or more.
Yandros on 23/10/2013 at 00:36
He was last on here in August. I've also emailed him a couple of times since then and gotten no response. :(

I don't want to say it's good idea because I had the same a couple of weeks ago in the german forum (
http://board.ttlg.de/index.php?page=Thread&postID=128181#post128181) ... :D
I've started to listen thru some FM ZIPs, too ... and found this (need some help because sometimes I didn't understand 100% of it):
Sturmdrang Peak (german version already exists):The watch should leave me alone - as long as nobody sees me breaking and entering that is.
These carnivorous beetles can tip the edge if I get into a fight.
These jewellery boxes should fetch a nice price back in the city.
I had just returned from fencing the last of the loot from the mansion job I pulled a couple of weeks ago when I noticed a letter on my doormat. It was from an old flame of mine, Vivianne. I hadn't seen her in years since we parted on less than amicable turns.
I wish I could say it was tempted only by the lure of pirate treasure, but that would be a lie. I couldn't just leave her to her fate. Maybe I'm not such a cold-hearted bastard after all.
This must be very valuable to Captain Sturmdrang to hide it so well.
Well this complicates things - I better see this Pavid guy.
Well that was unexpected! The crystal pieces have fused into a sword.
I hope these crystal pieces are worth the lengths I'm going to get them.
Ah - nothing I could do for this guy. At least he's given me a lead.
Is there anyone she hasn't double-crossed? I suppose it's up to me to stop her.
Ahhh, those double-crossing bastards! ... I'd better find a way out of here.
Hmm - I better think carefully about what equipment to take.
That's done it. Now I can cross the final bridge.
The crystal sword is back in it's rightful place, keeping that monster sealed in it's prison. It will be a long time before the next ship that could take me back to the city. A long time to think about everything that has happened. Everything I've done, everything I could do next. I've got the treasure, I've got my revenge... but have I really got anything at all. A long time to think. Maybe I'll find some answers, maybe not.
This Grent guy has caused no end of trouble. Maybe I should lock him up for the authorities to deal with later.
Hmm - maybe I can hide one of those crates.
That ought to do it. Now to find the secret entrance in the library.
That should make them think twice. I'd better make sure to get out of here before it burns all the way down.
Looks I'm back in that old pirate house in the village.
Pity they already cleared out with the treasure.
That should be enough of the treasure to retire on.
This little haul should pay for my ride home.
That should be all the rune keys I need to get into the temple.
So... the ship's been taken over by pirates. This doesn't look good.
Looks like I can get past the barricade through these sewer tunnels.
Hmm - maybe I can stop her if I replace the crystal sword into the seal.
Looks like these vents will come in handy for sneaking about the place. The Box:This man made a great effort to conceal his identity. But as me seems strangely familiar I know perfectly well who uses this kind of weapon.
Aha! The ...'s registry. I wonder if it's possible to run the business without this book.
Hm, since the box has been already sent, it might still be at the post office. I should get there as soon as possible. The Black Frog (german and french versions already exist):Hm, this key could be useful.
Here is some interesting news.
This is getting complicated. I should get to my flat and get some more supplies.
A stone of life. So that's how they've stayn so young.
Hm, if Bazil can access Emily's appartements he must have a key. I have to steal it from him unseen.Reunion With Basso (from the briefing videos, music-free versions still available on my HD, german and french versions already exist):Right now I'm on my way to visit my old pal Basso. After the business with Lady Rumfort he and Jenivere left the city and now reside in a nearby town. My journey will take me thru the town of Bad Hammersbach. The Hammerites run a spa there and it's become quite the spot for ailing guests with lots of money. Reason enough for me to pay a visit. Without a proper medical certificate or cure card I won't be able to use the main entrance, so I'll have to find another way in. Once inside I need to find the administration office and make my own cure card, so I can move about undisturbed in all but the most restricted or private areas. With this job my sword will just get in the way so I've stashed it in a neary abandoned ruin. I'll retrieve it after the job is done and continue my journey.
The spa job proofed very profitable indeed. Now that my pockets are nice and full I can continue my trip to see Basso. Unfortunately according to the Abbot's notes there is a squad of Hammerites going my way, too. Word has it that some of their fellow brothers are being pressed by the Mechanists. Though they don't seem to be traveling in a hurry. Just what are they up to? I better follow them in a safe distance.
My journey is almost at an end. I only have to pass thru the town of Neville. Basso and Jenivere live just outside of town in a peaceful countryside. In his letter Basso listed some of Neville's more interesting sights. I guess I'll have to do some sightseeing so as to not arrive empty-handed. They don't know me in this town so getting in should pose no problem. However, once enough stuff goes missing things could get unpleasant. So I'll be leaving thru the local mine in my own inimitable style.I suggest to include them in a ZIP with a text file containing all the comments - I'd like to speak them in german and ... peut-être FireMage, tu pourras les enregistrer en francais?
Lady Rowena on 23/10/2013 at 10:18
Zappen, there is no voice acting by Sly in The Seven Sisters. I'm almost sure that they are from The Seventh Crystal instead.
I would like to have Sly Foxx voice acting for the campaign I'm working on though. I wonder what's happened to him. I hope he's well.....
nicked on 23/10/2013 at 12:34
Thanks zappen - made a few corrections to the Sturmdrang Peak ones. Is that the full list? I don't have my script to hand.

I've been out of the loop, so can I ask where has SF gone to..?
