That's actually a quite significant difference! The originals are all so similar in hue (common palette?) and the new ones look like you would expect a row of different artworks to look.

The only problem I'd have with that is that I'd expect there to be "fantasy" paintings. The Thief world contains sorcerers and strange beasts, after all. There should be more stylized paintings of the heroic battles against the undead hordes. :p

Nothing is stopping the FM authors from doing that, and I always like to see new art. But this effort is about improving the originals so all missions that use them can benefit. Besides, if you
replace the originals with completely different art, then some artwork that was in context before might suddenly be out of context.

Since I've been playing with the Enhancement Pack installed since mid-2005 without problems, I'd say the answer is Yes.

I thought there was some concern over the number of new palettes it introduces, which when combined with custom palettes from an FM can cause some missions to crash or not work properly?
