One problem I have with them is that the AI has to be sitting up on a high stool and not on a normal chair. The advantage of the king's motions is that it is almost right for a normal sized chair and table (almost).

Yes, I've had to use certain chair models and even then make them higher than normal to have it look decent. I also hate that the arms are held up in a very unrelaxed-looking pose, instead of down in the lap or by the sides.

In "Lord Fishkill's Curse", I made two AI bent into a sitting pose. So you could have them idling, drinking, other various motions. If you can use the models (male and female servant) and just reskin them for what you need - it might work for you.
This seems like the best answer for my use. You just edited the mesh object correct?

That was posted 5 years ago so he may not come by to reply, but yes I'm pretty sure what he meant by making bent AI was he modified the meshes to be bent into a sitting position by default.

Which would require a complex bit of model swapping when the AI alerts and should stand up ... and probably multiple intermediate state models to smooth out the motion. I'm betting that someone who can generate new motions could generate such much more easily (and more generally useful to the community) than a model swapping solution. I'm just saying ...

Whoops I didn't catch what. Well hopefully we can learn from pinkdot and get some custom motions going.
