My first time making a poll. Watch me screw up.
The people want Garrett back, but in what way? Should he be the player character or should he play another critical role in the storyline? Perhaps he should just be briefly mentioned? What's your call?

If an option other than the first one gets the most votes, I'll hang myself.

A joke, right? It's like asking whether they should include Rocky Balboa in a "Rocky" -sequel.

A veiled way to suggest either THE GIRL or an all new series...

If Garrett comes back it has to be in the key role. I'm ok with a story that doesn't involve Garrett at all (I'd still prefer one with him), but having him in a side character/mentor role would wreck the character.

It would be a tease, and if the new protagonist couldn't live up to the title, it would create an initially justifiable angry bias that would soon become grossly unfair, and lead to more throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Do you know, we have the same phrase in Bulgarian :) I like how it translates into English.
And you are right! A Thief without Garrett is like a Terminator without Arnold - we all saw what happened after that - a disaster.

This is just a ridiculous question to ask ON THESE FORUMS. Anywhere else might be alright but here people would be up in arms without him.

Hahahaha!
