you know completly true to the series and the whole plot
a sneaksie flim where you join garret on the quests and missions to achieve some flawless (close to ) plot that expands the Thief world and make us all die and droul.

I don't think a movie starring Garrett would work. I don't know, it just would get sort of boring watching him black jack people over and over. I think it should be about something different, to flesh out the universe and maybe add something new. Possibly something about the ongoing war? Elite stealth units being used there?

Thief is not
totally about Garrett. The Thief universe as a whole would make an interesting movie IMHO. The dynamics of the factions and all the interesting characters could make the storytelling more immersive. Besides, there's a lot of great movies that don't need action in order to tell a good story.

The movie would have to have some action, I mean, after all, Garrett does a fair share of sword fighting (and running away when necessary), etc. But I agree with ascott about the different factions & characters. If they were fleshed out a bit the movie could be quite interesting (especially if Benny was in it)!
Also; Garrett would have to have a love interest... *sigh*.
I'VE GOT IT!! It could be an action/drama/comedy/romance/thriller/fantasy movie! :cheeky:

Just seeing the t2 tree beasts would be pretty cool on the big screen. Oh yeah, the morphing of Viktoria (especially her sprouting her limbs) and Constantine and that whole scene in general would be worth the price of admission . . . if it was done right . . .
