How about throwing books into the pool?
Like Metro 2033 (ya I know that came out as a game, too) combined with thief? Sneaking through the abandoned subway tunnels, with big rusty pipes alongside where an unspeakable eerie sound may or may not come out from... brrr. All the way to the Kreml to steal a cursed star that blinds you when you look directly at it.
And I've always wanted to find more of the Cthulhu Myth since I saw that particular statue in the forgotten city.
And does any other dinosaur here remember this C64 game "Impossible Mission"? You were inside a full automatic mansion wich had an own A.I. mind and wouldn't let you get out. Kind of like the book "game over" by Phillip Kerr.

old game or show.... hmm... good question...
how about "Otherworld"? (80s one.. only lasted one season -- its about a family that falls thru a portal under the Pyramid of Giza and have to find a place called "Imar" to get home)
after all, Garret has seen some weird things.. but this would be the weirdest of all... heh

Would a certain movie series count? If so then I would love for the "Lord of The Rings" movie series to be made into an FM because it would be very Awesome and cool :D
